Hi All, You can now sign up as a session chair for Pycon sessions: http://us.pycon.org/2009/conference/schedule/ The session chair is responsible for being at the session a little early, helping the speaker with water and instruction, introducting the speaker, and keeping the speaker aware of time. I'll help you with your duties. It's a pretty low-impact job. Get to signing up! Sorry about that Concerned, you have to click on the session, then there's a link inside of the fancy ajazzzzz popup that says "volunteer to be the session chair." In fact, you need to hover over the session name, etc and wait for the tooltip to come up and that's where you can opt in to being a session chair -- clicking on the session will likely just mark it as a session you're interested in attending. -ted _______________________________________________ Chicago mailing list Chicago@py...org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/chicago
