After the mess over the Threshold listing being deleted from Wikipedia, the
Wikipedia admin Fred Bauder, himself a mudder of LONG standing, got a new
Wiki created on Wiki for preserving mud history.

http://mud.wikia.com/wiki/MUD_Wiki

I added a long entry for LegendMUD. I think everyone should jump in and work
on these articles, with as many citations as possible. The rules are NOT the
same as for Wikipedia proper. And I suspect that the endless MUD-Dev
archives will become an important source. :)

I passed this along to the staff list for the MUD I'm on when you
mentioned it on your blog. Their comment was, "Isn't that duplicating http://mu.wikia.com/
  ?"

Unfortunately, mu.wikia.com is mostly roleplay transcripts, not mud history.

As long as it's somewhat on-topic... I have put a copy of the mud-dev
archives online. Folks may find the format easier to read than other
archives and, in any case, more copies = goodness.

http://listlibrary.net/mud-dev
http://listlibrary.net/mud-dev2

I have it on my todo list to scrape the Meta web archive out of
archive.org, but it hasn't fought its way up in priority yet. If anyone
would like to work with me on it, please contact me offlist.
